Jim Carnahan went to high school at Central DeWitt and to college at St. Ambrose. He received his track officiating certificate in the spring of 1974 and has been busy officiating track and field and cross country meets in Eastern Iowa ever since.
Jim works 20-22 track meets and 6-8 cross country meets per year.
Jim retired in 2010, after 33 years, from his job as a child and adult protective service worker for Scott County.
